When we kicked off the cross season with our Jackson Park race in September, we saved a portion of each entry to make a donation to World Bicycle Relief, an organization that uses the power of bicycles to bring independence and livelihood to people in need. This week race director Greg Heck made a $300 donation to support WBR’s efforts, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks!
Hitting a triple at Campton Cross
Bragging rights | Nov 4 | by Luke Seemann
XXX Racing-AthletiCo has had huge turnouts at all the races of the Chicago Cyclocross Cup, and we’re thrilled to have enjoyed some of the best results in our history Sunday at Campton Cross in St. Charles. XXX Racing-AthletiCo swept the women’s races behind Rebecca Much in the women’s open (her second win of the series) and Eileen Neville in the women’s 4’s (her third win), and making his 2009 debut was John Tomlinson, who won the juniors race. We also got some top-10 performances from Randy Warren in the 40+, Brian Parker and Greg Heck in the 3’s and rookie Newt Cole in the 4b’s.
